Spring is in the air. We have flowers and lots of butterflies. It's so colorful and lively.

Girls Day Pin

I was in the process of making mochi for my daughter's class project. March is almost here. Christy got this really cute Girls Day Pin to share and make with you. Come by on Thursday we have a special guest coming to demo and make-it take-its with you.

Today we demonstrated the Big Shot using the Hello Kitty Kathy Sizzix die and texture templates...getting ready for spring.

Forever in my Heart

We have a forever in My Heart Charm and bracelet that we got in recently. This might be a good Valentine's Day gift if you have not gotten one yet. You choose a charm or bracelet and pick a few charms to go into the locket.

Jewelry Making with Renee

We had our first Jewelry Making class with Renee on Wednesday evening (5-7pm). We learned how to do a basic wire wrap bracelet. We look forward to making our next project with Renee. Stop by the store to see some samples of Renee's work and what we will be working on next.

Kimono Card

In preparation for Girls Day we made a kimono card using the Accu-Cut Die We used washi paper to give it that Asian flair.

Welcome to our Blog

Welcome to Crafts in the City's blog. Today we have a new item to share, Forever in my Heart necklace/locket and bracelets. They are cute and you can personalize them. Great gift just in time for Valentine's Day. We also made a Hello Kitty Card using the Sizzix Big Shot and Xyron sticker machine.
