Birthday Card!

How's your Monday so far, long week for those on furlough. We're making a cute but sort of masculine birthday card today for make 'n take and demo. Come by and make one with us.

Girls' Day!

Many of you have been coming in...what we doing for Girls Day? Well, Valentine's and Chinese New Year is over whew! On to the next, holiday, so busy. But that's good. We got in some really cute Hero Arts and dandelion design stamps, that you'd like for Girls Day. Look at what you can do with stamps, some really cute paper, pop dots and tape.

Stop by today to do the lent calendar that we posted yesterday small fee but don't forget to check the tweets to see how to get a great deal on this. We'll be making this cute girl for tomorrow's Girls Day card.

Let's make a date for the bind-it-all project that was done on Joy of Crafting. Tuesday, Feb. 23rd. 11:30-2:30pm. Workshop fee $4, if you can't make it then, let us know and we can schedule a workshop time for you.

We updated our bind-it-all calendar a bit. For those of you who are getting ready for lent. We made this just for you.

What's left of February?

We are closed today, just wishing you a Happy Presidents' Day. Those that are participating in the Great Aloha Run today, hope that you do well. We have lots to do in the upcoming weeks. 

Scrapper's Jam !!!! Are you going? We are....so see you there. Don't know about it -- its lots of fun, a day full of cropping, perfect if you're a scrapbook person and wanna scrapbook. February 27th at Ko'olau Golf Course (you need to register - stop by the store for more information).

Getting ready for Lent (chocolate, meat, rice, spam??? what to do), mardis gras (we got beads), fat Tuesday (mmmm mmm malasadas), Girls Day...so many projects. Not to mention St. Patty's Day.

We'll be posting some projects soon on the site. And of course the new card contest - look for that on Thursday - we're changing it up a bit make it more fun.

Balloons, Balloons, and more balloons

Getting things ready for this weekend. Maybe you forgot something? Well, have you thought about balloons to start off the weekend? Like Hello Kitty, we got a few. What about Chinese New Year...we got a balloon for that.

Kung Hee Fat Choy!

We know it's on Sunday, but we're not open (we'll be eating gau, jai, etc. getting well and passing out envelopes to the little ones in our families). Many of you will be furlough this Friday, so we'd like to say it now and pay our respects and Valentine's tomorrow. We're making this card today - but you are welcome to add more stuff to it bling it up a little more. We used the Hero Arts stamps for this card - we'll be using this again for double duty...so keep watching.

More Valentine Stuff

If you were in downtown and saw the lights on, we were closed but working. Inventory! Need to start off the new year on the right foot. Well, we have lots going on. It's GI Joe day today, Ground Hog tomorrow, Wear red in support of Heart Assosciation day for Women on Friday, and of course Bubble Gum Day. Monday, Monday, Monday - didn't the Carpenters sing a song about Mondays?

Things to know for this week:
1) Valentine Card Contest: due by 6pm TODAY!
2) Let us know if Phil is giving us more winter on Tuesday and Wednesday.
3) Wear red on Friday to get something special - watch the tweets (twitter) for the special.
