(lucky candy from our neighbor, dandelion and hero arts stamp, doodlebug paper, nestabilities, and marvy uchida heart punches, 2x3 recloseable bag, and our all time favorite - merikan double sided tape.)

power OUTage!

OMG! Ringing up a customer and the power went out. However, our thoughts and prayer are with those that were injured.

Just sharing a few pictures of what we did yesterday during the power outage. See Josh make leis - it was much cooler outside than in.

See Christy fix shelves. It was a little dark, darker the further you went into our little store. Today is lighter, lighter traffic, and its Friday. Furlough Friday. Well, have a good one, and if you are in town, stop by and say HI!

It was a busy weekend!

Taking picture of someone taking a picture! Well, checkouted out the live taping of Joy of Crafting it was fun to see what's happening. (more information on her blog)

candy dispenser update

Per instructions, you'll be cutting and scoring the paper so get out that paper trimmer, here I have a picture of hte Uchida Paper Trimmer with the scoring blade. (picture on the left).

Then further on in the instructions -step 5, we used a x-acto knife and straight edge. (see picture on the right)

Picture here show the center and the corners cut out.

Just a couple pictures to see how to make the cover.
The cute stamps that we used to embellish the box after completing it! Just another project that you can do during your lunch hour. What's even better it, the box itself only takes one 12x12 sheet of paper.

Hot Fix Tool

Using this tool is so perfect for me. I like that it sticks to the fabric right away. I love it! I'll be trying it on paper soon. Christy and I tried it out on some other stuff and it worked on the aluminum can. Fun, fun! Come by and see the pants that we made and all the stuff that we started "bling"ing.

Valentine's and Chinese New Year

What to do now that all the holiday rush is done??? Well, still making thank you cards to say thanks for all those wonderful gifts that were received. Making cards for the New Year! Yes, Chinese New Year. I know I not Chinese but I sure love that gau. Especially the homemade kind - sitting around the table with family, eatting and enjoying the company.

If you have the Big Shot and the #4 envelope we're going to using that for the rest of this month. Got more batteries this weekend, will be posting the pictures this afternoon for the candy dispenser. Will anyone like to volunteer to be my hand model? Let me know. Gotta go prep for today.

Dispenser - see you Monday!

Well, its cute and it's complete - just finalizing the measurements for Monday. Yep, our demo for Monday. Sorry, but you'll have to pick and purchase your paper - I think you'll like it a lot more. All the other stuff, don't worry. I'll be looking for the chocolate this weekend - hopefully I'll find some. I'm thinking about changing it up to dispense the Japanese hard candies from Wholesale - good for reception.
(dandelion designs: panda Pong and saying. The paper is Imaginisce.)
