A JOYous friend gave this really cute paper clip project, thought you all might want to make it. Come by today to make one. It's super easy as 1-2-3. If you make a few then you got a really nice gift - for Admin Day next month or even Mother's day.Would think this might be good for those soon to be graduates that will be off to college (for their textbooks.)
Look at all the new stuff that we are getting...greeting cards (picture on the left), we'll be doing a make 'n take next month using the flower soft and couple of the cards. (There will be a small fee for the card, but worth it.)We got in more K& Company paper and embellishments...do you have a new baby or a friends maybe that's working on their album...cute stuff.
Will be posting a picture once we get the new BO Bunny paper up and out.
As some of you know, I was on the Big Island last week. It was so beautiful. Got lots of inspiration - went to the Kona Ace Hardware - I was so excited. They have a section that has scrapbooking and crafts - similar to things we carry, more seasonal thing though, and they have a floral section.
Sunsets at the beach, as the saying goes "lucky you live Hawaii."
This picture made me think of a project that I didn't finish (oops...did I say that, but it's always that next project that keeps us, a true lifetime crafter).
We got in something new for everyone ... a little bit of paper, a little bit of flower soft, note pads, bead strands..... and of course Josh getting ready for next week's St. Patty's Day events... watch the tweets we may just have a green special for you.
We finally got 'em in...the Martha Stewart scoring board and some deep edge punches too. I like the tinsel glitter. I'm so excited to try out the adhesive tab and roll. Looks like there is too much too do.
We got in K& Company too....if you like lime green and purple/lilac...then you might want to come check it out.
We're sad to say that Christy will be moving on to greater things as of today. She did a farewell lei class today during lunch. Josh is still around and preparing for St. Patty's Day projects next week. So we look forward to seeing that.
Hey Card Makers! Yes, you...we're changing the card making contest a little more challenging for you all. We recently got in Core Essential Paper and many of you got some from us. Thought that since many of you have this paper, lets use some of it to make an Easter card for this month's card contest. I know, I know, Easter is in April, but it's the first weekend....it's never too early.
March Card Contest Information:
1) Size: no larger than a 5"x7" card.
2) Theme: Easter - need to utilize/incorporate at least 2 different colors of Core Essential paper.
3) 75% of product used is purchases from Crafts in the City.
Contest will run from March 15-19 (no extension). Prize for the winner will be an Ink 'n Stamp set.
Some suggestions were made, such that we are trying to take those to heart. Keep you posted. Don't forget to enter as well as come in to vote (March 22-26) for your favorite card.
Get us organized for 2010....I haven't been to that store out in Kapolei yet...but look forward to going this year. Any organizing crafting tips, maybe we'll make that part of next month for National Crafting Month. If you got any good ones, and don't mind sharing. Leave us a tip for the day.
