Last week!

Good Morning! It's Monday! Well, don't forget that we have a 20% off your purchase (pretty much the entire store.) until Thursday our last day. (so sad, but chin up as a new adventure begins!)

Well, what are we doing this week. still working on projects, got one from of our morning crew, shared a really cute strawberry favor that we'll be sharing at the Mapunapuna re-opening on Sept. 4th. Still debating what to make for the Pearl City Ben Franklin Paper Party on August 28th Sat. Any ideas? What will I do so early in the morning now.... ah sleep :) lol. But, I look forward to seeing many of you over at Market City Ben Franklin. How will I get my ideas and/or finish up my projects when I get stuck? ..... Your email.

Please come by and sign up for the email list. Look forward to still being able to keep in contact with many of you as you have assisted in sharing your ideas which helped us grow as notecard makers, soft crafters, and just as crafters in general. So please come by and get a really good deal, but also, leave an email if you haven't already.

Next blog will have pictures -- still trying to get a new camera, maybe my flat leilani will travel somewhere exotic and need to get a really good one. :)

But, before that, Christmas present crafts, starting my ideas -- but first I need to make a new slow cooker cover (need a pattern, anyone got one? Thanks Lei's mom for the great laulau receipe!), a receipe box to hold all the receipes that I'm collecting now that I'm trying to learn how to use my slow cooker - any ideas? and a shoe bag (going to use all the fabric that I have, but will be buying that terrific iron on vinyl that someone hooked me up with last year - get 'em at BFS you know and at the back of the CitC store).

As the saying goes so much to do, so little time...So "C"eep on Crafting!

August, Already!

School's started for those public school kids! At least there wasn't too much traffic this morning. Shopping at Long's, good thing got that downtown one and all those friendly faces in the morning ready to greet us all.

Well, August holds many new things for us, we are sad to inform you, that we will be closing Crafts in the City doors on August 12th. It has been great meeting all of you. It has been a pleasure to be of service to all of you from taking an "AC" or "coffee" breaks, just waiting for the pedestrian light to change, on the way to UPS, the downtown post office, or just running errands. Then being able to get to know many of you from the paddling and volleyball groups that you help with, what kind of Starbucks drinks you recommend, school projects that you needed to get completed, and blowing up balloons for that special little person - sending smiles to you. All of you will be missed but not forgotten.

So let's play and enjoy (come by did you see the tweet? did ya? better go check it out!) See ya before the 12th. If not, watch for where to follow us. (Hint: Do you know who Crafts in the City is related to?)
