Card Contest!

VOTE, VOTE, VOTE! No! Not for governor. Vote for your favorite card for our Month of July Card Contest!! Swing by during your break or after hours and grab your ballot once for everyday of this week and vote. Vote for your friend, your friend's friend, or just because you admire great crafting. We have our new ad up and running today so while you're voting you can pick up a flier too. Bicones, Rhinestones, pre cut cards, and punches. You name it, we got the deals! Show us some love and tell us what new projects you've been working on. Good Morning Monday Crafters! We just got in the new issue of Island Family for the month of June. Pick up a copy today and check out what we got inside for you. We're sad to say goodbye to Gayle. She's parting us to return back to her home store in Enchanted Lake. She was a great help in running the store while Chris was out. In another note let's welcome back CHRIS! From her month long absence, she's finally returned! We know alot of you guys have been missing her so you should stop by and give her a welcome back surprise.
This is the last week for our ad. Great oppurtunity for beaders to get discounts on Sterling Silver and Beadalon Findings. Next week we'll be starting up on a new ad, we are also accepting RAK (Random Acts of Kindness) themed cards for our Card Contest. Rules and Requirements were posted in a previous blog. First Week of July!

We hope everyone had a GREAT 4th of July weekend and warm welcomes back into our first full week of July. To start things off we got in a large selection of Jolee stickers and best of all it's on sale this week!! Our new ad has kicked in so you can find tons of things for special %off prices, including all of our new Jolees stickers up until July 16th, friday of next week. Remember July's Card Contest is coming up so if you're interested CREATE your own card today. Rules and requirements are posted in last weeks blog but you can always come in and ask us for anything and everything else.

Crochet Lei Classes and Card Contest!

Do you want to learn to crochet beautiful leis for a friend or family? We hold classes on thursday throughout the month just for you. Next week we are holding a class on Thursday, July 8th from 3pm to 5pm in the afternoon. If you're interested in signing up drop by the store and we can get you on our list. There is a charge for the class and materials are sold seperately. For all other information and questions ask one of our associates today.

For the month of July we are holding a RAK (Random Act of Kindness) themed Card Contest. Here's the rules and requirements:

   The card must have a RAK style theme.
2. 
   
   To incorporate the new Paper Company
   Cards of any design or color. (For questions
   or location of this item please ask one of our
   associates.)
   
3. 
   
   75% of product included in the card should
   be bought from the store.
   
4. 
   
   5*7 is the maximum size for card entrees.

 Cards should be turned in from July 12th to the 16th. Voting begins on the following monday, July 19th, to the 23rd. For all other questions or concerns please stop by today. Our new Calendar for July is also up on Crafts in the City or pick up the calendar inside the store. July's Card Contest Prize will be announced on a later date.

In observance of Fourth of July we will be closed on Monday, July 5th. Have a GREAT Fourth of July weekend and remember HAPPY CRAFTING EVERYONE!

Graduation is in full swing did you make your leis yet? What about a grad board - visit your local Ben Franklin for help with this one stop shop for your graduation supplies (board, letters, decoration!)

Fathers' Day Card Contest

Drop off your cards by Friday May 14th to be eligible for voting next week.

1) Size: no larger than a 5"x7" card.
2) Theme: Father's Day. Be creative and have fun.
3) 75% of product used is purchase from Crafts in the City
4) challenge: you need to use 2 colors of Flower Soft.
Prize: 1st place card winner: Alcohol Ink and applicator ($25 value), 2nd place card winner: Martha Stewart punch (Value $16.99)

Graduation is coming! Boy's Day and Mother's Day first!

First off, don't forget to come before 6pm today to put in your vote for the card contest. Also, don't forget that we have a special give away for those of you who come to participate in the voting.

Secondly, Graduation is coming...yes very soon. Did you come by and pick-up your graduation dates and color list from us. (the pink on is the most up to date.)

As for Boy's Day we have a a few more dandelion fish stamps and working on some cute ideas for next week. Also, Mother's Day can't forget my mom! NO WAYS! Let alone, all you great mothers out there!

Didn't give you all the information...no wonder no one came in. Well, we'll shift the dates on the calendar, so watch for the revised due dates and voting on the calendar: Cards will be due by next Friday April 16th closing and voting the following week April 19th - 23rd.

2) Theme: Mother's Day. Be creative. As mother's come in different shapes, sizes and very unique.
3) 75% of product used is purchase from Crafts in the City.

Prize: 1st place card winner: 2 Flower Soft colors of your choice, 2nd place card winner: 1 Flower Soft color of your choice.

We're going to try something fun to have all your friends come and checkout your cards and vote for you! Information will be posted on Wednesday April 14th.
